Add Tickets and Sponsorships
Add Tickets, Sponsorships, and Underwriting levels before marketing your event landing page.
How to Add/Edit Tickets and Sponsorships

Go to Event Admin

Select Event Tickets
-
Click Modify Tickets
Event Tickets > Modify Tickets > + Add Individual Ticket
Use this section to create individual ticket options for your event, including Gala tickets, Tables, Golfers, and Foursomes.

Enter the Ticket Name

Example: Individual Ticket

Enter the Price
-
Example: $100

Enter the Fair Market Value (FMV)

Required for tax and receipt purposes

Set Tickets per Purchase

Example: 1

This is typically 1 ticket per purchase

If the ticket is a Couples Ticket, enter 2

Set the Maximum Number of Tickets per Purchase

Example: If selling tables of 8, we recommend setting this to 7

Apply Discount Codes (if applicable)

Add Custom Questions (optional)
Use HelloFund's Fair Market Value Calculator to determine the estimated cost per ticket for your event.
Once determined, go to Event Tickets > Modify Tickets> Select Ticket, Sponsorship or Underwriting Level / Name and enter cost per ticket or sponsorship into the appropriate Fair Market Value field.
​​Use discount codes to offer reduced or complimentary tickets during checkout.
To Create a Discount Code
Event Tickets > Modify Tickets > Select Ticket or Sponsorship Name

Select the blue + Discount Code button

Enter the Discount Code Name

Enter the Discount Price you want the purchaser to pay

If the ticket should be free, enter 0 as the discount price

Use Custom Questions to collect details like meal choices, trivia team names, or t-shirt sizes.
To Create a Custom Question
Event Tickets > Modify Tickets > Select Ticket, Sponsorship or Underwriting Level / Name

Select Add Question

Enter the Question Text

Set Is Active? to Yes to make the question live

Select the Response Type:

Drop Down — for meal choices or t-shirt sizes

Text — for team names (e.g., trivia or golf teams)

Choose where the response should appear:

Show on Ticket — use for team or group names

Show on Guest Record — use for individual responses like meal choices

Event Tickets > Modify Tickets > + Add Sponsor Level
Use this section to create sponsorship levels such as Presenting, Gold, and more.

Enter the Sponsor Level Name

Example: Presenting Sponsor

Use this section to create underwriting opportunities for your event. Underwriting levels are typically used to cover specific event expenses (e.g., Bar Sponsor, Entertainment Sponsor, AV Sponsor, Auctioneer, Technology)
