Testing Donations Ahead of your Fundraiser

Online payment and donation systems can be complicated, but here at HelloFund we’re dedicated to making sure the process is as smoothly and efficiently as possible!

We highly suggest running a $5 test donation through your fundraising page (this can be a good opportunity to test the refund option too!). Don’t worry, we’ll walk you through it.

To test through HelloFund pages:

• First, navigate to the page you wish to test transactions for (ex. app.hellofunddev22.wpengine.com/customurl)

• Click Donate at top of the page

• Select $5 or enter in custom amount (we now require a $5 minimum for security reasons)

• Fill out the required information and hit Donate to complete

  • Check your email for a confirmation message

• Navigate to the “manage” section of your page

• Go to the “transactions” tab

• Your donation should appear under this section
