Anderson High School Bands’ Booster Club Approach
We knew we were leaving money on the table…
Anderson High School hadn’t used an online fundraising platform prior to 2019. Donations came in through check, cash and venmo, making it difficult to track for reporting purposes.
We knew we were leaving money on the table so to speak without a credit card option. Plus we were missing friends and family who wanted to support the Band who lived out of town.

Adding the online component simply saved our fundraising efforts this past year due to COVID
Adding the online component simply saved our fundraising efforts this past year due to COVID. Having already had a year under our belts, we were able to improve on the process. Each section had their own page and they sent out emails and communications to their friends and family and we made it a daily contest and gave out prizes. Making it fun and exciting really paid off.
You raised over $51,000 – how was that money used?
The money we raise goes to support uniforms, music, instruments and special tutors and teachers for the band. We also helped pay for a new Band Trailer this year with the money we raised!
